Caravex terms of service

1. Who we are and how you accept

1.1. Caravex (caravex.trade) is run by the Caravex administration, a private individual. It is a non-commercial fan project. Contact: admin@caravex.trade. Below: “we”, “the site” or “Caravex”.

1.2. By signing in through Discord you accept these terms. Before you first enter the Players' Market, the site separately asks you to accept the terms and the Community Rules with a checkbox. How we handle data is described in “Your data” (the privacy policy); reading it is not consent where the law requires separate consent.

1.3. Accounts and the Players' Market are only for people aged 18 or over who can enter into this agreement on their own under the law of their country. Parental permission does not change this. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, access is closed.

1.4. Rights that the law does not let you waive by contract prevail over anything in these documents.

2. What Caravex is

2.1. Caravex is an independent fan service for calculations and information about game economies. It currently supports Albion Online, Europe server. The site is not affiliated with Sandbox Interactive GmbH, does not act on its behalf and is not endorsed by it.

2.2. What exists now: city-to-city trading and refining calculations, advice on where to buy cheaper and where to sell, a crafting reference, prices, charts and price history, market news, the daily bonus, medals and ratings of options, player profiles, and the Players' Market with listings and chats.

2.3. Prices come from the community Albion Online Data Project and from our own observations. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. A calculation depends on what you entered, the prices available and our formulas.

2.4. When new features appear — notifications and messages from the administration, forecasts and a “virtual trader”, equipment trading, Black Market data, crafting calculations, trade statistics, other sign-in methods, other games — these terms cover them too. The list is not a promise to make them.

3. Calculations are not a guarantee

3.1. Profit, ROI, routes, forecasts, advice, news, the daily bonus, medals and ratings are calculations, not promises. The site does not guarantee an outcome, that an item is available, or a trade at the price shown. Medals and ratings assess an option within the site and say nothing about how reliable a player is.

3.2. Before you act in the game, check the server, item, quantity, price and taxes yourself. Whether to buy, haul, refine or sell is your decision and your risk.

3.3. Everything on the site is about a game. It is not investment, financial or other professional advice about real money or property.

3.4. The Players' Market uses in-game silver only. Caravex does not put a real-money price on game assets, does not exchange them for real money and does not recognise real-money trades (RMT).

4. The Players' Market

4.1. Caravex is a listings board with chats. The trade itself happens only in the game, through the trade window, between players and under the game's rules.

4.2. Caravex is not a party to a trade, a player's agent, a guarantor or a keeper of game assets. The site does not take payment for items, does not transfer items or silver and does not carry out trades.

4.3. You are responsible for your lot and for what you agreed. Likes, the “online” status, recent deals and a profile are not identity checks and not a guarantee that a player will do what was promised. A sale marked on the site does not by itself prove that the item changed hands in the game.

4.4. Players settle trade disputes themselves. We may look into a report and restrict an offender, but we are not obliged to return game assets, recover them or decide who is right in an in-game dispute. We act on illegal content as the law requires.

5. Your account and what is forbidden

5.1. Sign-in currently works through Discord only. You are responsible for the security of your Discord account and your Caravex sessions. Do not share access and do not pass yourself off as another player.

5.2. RMT, selling accounts and exchanging game assets for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, goods or services outside the game are forbidden. So are looking for people for such trades, acting as a go-between and pointing users to sellers.

5.3. Fraud, illegal offers and content, threats, harassment, insults, other people's personal data, spam, advertising of outside services, and links or disguised addresses in lots, profiles and chats are forbidden.

5.4. Getting around restrictions and bans, including through other accounts, inflating likes, filing knowingly false reports and arranging reports to pressure a player are forbidden. An honest report that was not confirmed is not a violation.

5.5. Without our permission, bots, automated data collection (scraping) and excessive load on the site are forbidden. Attacks, access to other people's data and exploiting vulnerabilities are forbidden.

5.6. If you find a vulnerability by accident, write to admin@caravex.trade. Do not take other people's data, do not keep using it and do not publish details that could cause harm. Ordinary search-engine indexing of the site's public pages is not forbidden data collection.

6. Your content

6.1. You are responsible for your “About me”, lot texts, chats, reports and appeals. Post only what you have the right to post and do not include unnecessary details about yourself or other people.

6.2. You keep the rights to your content. You allow Caravex, free of charge, to store it, show it to the people it is addressed to or to whom you made it visible, and process it technically to run and moderate the site — in any country, non-exclusively, for as long as we keep it under “Your data”.

6.3. Our technical providers do this only to run Caravex and only as far as needed. This permission does not allow selling your data or publishing private chats.

6.4. We may hide, restrict or remove a text or a lot if it breaks the law or the rules, if we receive a well-founded claim about it, if it threatens security or if the feature is closed. We do not have to warn in advance; we give the reason where the law requires it.

7. Moderation and restrictions

7.1. Moderation relies on player reports, snapshots of texts and lots, and checks the site runs itself: words, links, prices, signs of abuse. We do not promise to check every text before it is published or to find every violation.

7.2. We may hide lots and messages, switch off individual features for a while, close access to the Players' Market for a period or forever, and ban an account for 1 day, 7 days or forever. Several reports may lead to a temporary protective measure and a review; the number of reports alone does not prove a violation.

7.3. For RMT, illegal offers, fraud, attacks, getting around restrictions and other serious violations, access may be closed without warning.

7.4. While access to the Players' Market is closed, your lots are hidden and you cannot list lots, write in chats, change “About me”, give likes or report players. A ban closes sign-in to the whole site. A restriction does not mean the data is deleted at once: retention periods are in “Your data”.

7.5. We do not disclose exact filter thresholds or internal protection rules — otherwise they would be easy to get around. We give the reason for a decision, and say that the site made it without a person, to the extent the law requires.

7.6. Every decision can be appealed once, free of charge. Closed access to the Players' Market — on the site; if a moderator extended the restriction, you can appeal once more. Other decisions (a ban, a hidden lot or message) — by e-mail to admin@caravex.trade within 6 months of the decision: name the account, the decision and why you disagree. A person from the administration reviews the appeal. Access does not come back by itself while it is being reviewed.

7.7. Deleting your account while access to the Players' Market is closed means giving up the appeal: the restriction passes to a new account with the same Discord and cannot be appealed there.

7.8. The answer to an appeal is final only within the site. It does not limit requests about your data, any review the law makes mandatory, or complaints to a regulator or a court.

8. Game rights and notices

8.1. Game names, trademarks, images and other game materials belong to their rights holders. For Albion Online that is Sandbox Interactive GmbH and its licensors. Caravex gives you no rights to other people's materials.

8.2. You may not use the site to break a game's rules. We may remove materials or features if the game's rules change or if keeping them becomes a legal risk.

8.3. Rights holders and anyone who has found illegal content write to admin@caravex.trade. Give the exact page address or the content, what is wrong with it, your name and a contact for the reply, and confirm that the notice is honest and accurate. If you write for a rights holder, add details of the right and of your authority. Where the law allows a notice without a name, no name is needed.

8.4. If there is a contact, we confirm receipt and tell you the decision as soon as we can. The disputed content may be hidden during the check. A decision can be appealed under section 7.

8.5. Public authorities send lawful requests to the same address: their authority, the legal basis, exactly which content or data is needed, and the deadline. We do what the law obliges us to do.

8.6. We may pass information about a violation to the game's rights holder on its well-founded request — only where there is a lawful basis and only as far as needed. A breach of game rules alone gives no right to obtain someone's private chats.

9. Free and paid

9.1. The site is currently free. Showing market data (prices, charts, history) will stay free. Later, paid additional features may appear — the site's own analytics and conveniences — as well as voluntary donations. The site does not sell game items, silver or in-game advantages. We will announce paid features, their price and terms in advance and update these terms.

9.2. Payment will go through a third-party payment provider; the site does not store payment details (card numbers and the like).

9.3. Cancellation and refunds will follow the terms published when paid features launch; mandatory consumer rights remain.

9.4. The administration may also grant a status with additional features free of charge, at its discretion. A donation with nothing in return gives no special rights unless they are stated explicitly.

9.5. Accepting these terms alone creates no payments, and nothing that was free is charged for after the fact. New uses of data and advertising technologies appear only after “Your data” is updated and, where needed, with your separate consent.

9.6. We may change and close features: for maintenance, security, legal reasons or changes in the games. We try to announce a major planned change in advance; urgent protective measures apply at once.

10. Warranties and liability

10.1. As far as the law allows, the site is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee accurate prices and formulas, freedom from errors, uninterrupted operation, profit or successful trades.

10.2. Within the same limits, we do not compensate for lost in-game silver, items or time, lost in-game profit, the results of decisions based on the site's calculations, deception by other players or failures of outside services (Discord, price providers, hosting). Liability that the law forbids excluding remains.

10.3. Where the law allows liability to be limited, it is no more than the amount you paid Caravex for the service in question in the 12 months before the event. For free use that is zero. If such a limit is invalid, liability under the law applies.

10.4. These limits do not cover intentional harm and fraud on our part, harm to life and health, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, mandatory data-protection requirements, refunds and consumer rights.

10.5. We are not liable for a failure caused by force majeure only within the limits the law sets. An ordinary technical fault or a provider's failure is not force majeure by itself.

11. Changes to these documents

11.1. We may update the terms because of changes in the law, game rules, features or security. Every edition has a date and a version. When the meaning changes, the site says so and asks you to accept the new edition before you enter the Players' Market; the current text is always on this page.

11.2. Silence or viewing a public page does not replace consent where explicit acceptance or separate consent to data use is needed. If you disagree with the changes, you can stop using the site and delete your account.

12. Law and disputes

12.1. These terms are governed by the law of the country where the Caravex administration resides. The mandatory consumer-protection and data-protection rules of your country still apply.

12.2. First write to us at admin@caravex.trade: what happened, what you want and how to reach you. We reply within 30 days unless the law requires a faster answer. Writing to us before going to court is mandatory only where the law allows that.

12.3. Writing to us does not stop you from seeking urgent protection in court, complaining to a regulator or using consumer rights that cannot depend on a prior claim. These terms contain no waiver of court and no mandatory arbitration.

12.4. If we cannot agree, the dispute goes to the court that has jurisdiction under the general rules. A consumer keeps the right to go to court where they live if the law of their country provides for it.

12.5. The Russian and English texts mean the same. In case of a difference, the law and the language in which you accepted the terms are taken into account. An invalid clause does not make the others invalid and is not replaced by a stricter one.
